That's how long it took me to complete the first full draft of "Inquisitor". Nightmare. Well, at least I will be able to add more to it. But still another 20,236 words to go and it will officially be a novel. I need to change my deadline dates if I'm going to finish all of these novels. But, how on Earth am I going to fit another 20,000 words into this novel? I need to watch more noir films, get some more inspiration. Well it looks like I am going to have to "dig deep".
That's a little clue for you right there.

Oh, whoopie...
Fantastic. I lost the Wattys 2016. Now, just looking through the winners, I have no words for them. Literally. Not even a congratulations. For one of the awards, "Trailblazers", it needs to be a story that is completely different to anything anyone has ever read, it needs to be a fresh idea. Just looking through them, I found some of these gems (sarcasm intended). "The Online Profile Of A Serial Killer". Facebook? Really. Come now. "Death By Disney". Don't you think that is a bit dark? Then I found another award "HQ Love", the stories that Wattpad HQ love and adore. "The Term Sheet". That does not make any sense. "Harry On The Prairie". Harry Styles. Come now, be original. "The Scavenger Hunt". I am about to lose my mind. And here's the real kicker, "Hidden Gems", the stories that are the "diamonds in the rough" as they say. "Delivery". Harry Styles. "Spider's Game". The front cover looks an awful lot like The Hunger Games. How original. "When You Fall". The front cover shows a man in trunks diving into water. What is that supposed to tell me? That someone is going to go to the beach and fall over? (That would be hilarious).
How on Earth did "Losing Sleep" lose to all of those. Right now, I am going to go away, have a cup of green tea (No milk and no sugar of course, because that's me), and think about what the hell I just looked through. Before I leave you, I have said this once and I will say it once more:
It's time to wake up everyone!
